The Jewish Federations of North America, the world’s largest Jewish fund-raising network, on Monday opened registration for its annual General Assembly that will take place in Denver November 6th to 8th.

Each year thousands of Jewish leaders and activists from across North America and around the world take part in the gathering to discuss issues affecting the Jewish people and its future.

Last year’s confab held in New Orleans was attended by politicians Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and US Vice President Joe Biden as well as astronaut Garrett Reisman and David Simon, creator of the HBO television series The Wire. The theme for this year’s GA, which marks the 80th anniversary of the event, is “The Original Jewish Social Network.”
