Report: 40 Palestinians, 1 cop injured at Kalandia

The Kalandia checkpoint has been closed following clashes taking place between Palestinians and Border Police forces, the IDF spokesperson said.

One Border Police officer was lightly injured by stones thrown by Palestinians, according to the spokesperson. Forty Palestinians were injured during the clashes, Israel Radio reported.

Border Police and IDF forces were firing tear gas and rubber bullets in an attempt to disperse the protesters.
