Home Front Defense Minister Avi Dichter was set to announce Sunday that he would be running in the Likud party primary, Channel 10 and Channel 2 reported Saturday evening.
Dichter submitted his letter of resignation from the Kadima party to Knesset Speaker Reuven Rivlin in August, when he replaced Matan Vilnai as home front defense minister.
