Report: Barak, Kadima's Itzik discuss possible unity gov't

Defense Minister Ehud Barak and Industry, Trade and Labor Minister Shalom Simhon of the Independence Faction met with Kadima chair Dalia Itzik about the possibility of Kadima joining the government coalition, Channel 2 reported on Wednesday.

The report quoted sources as saying that Kadima could splinter into two groups if party leader Tzipi Livni refuses Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's call for a unity government.
