Report: Bomb blast severely injures foreigner in Thailand

A bomb blew off the legs of a male foreigner and caused damage to a telephone booth in Thailand's capital Tuesday, The Bangkok Post reported.

Witnesses told the newspaper in Bangkok that an unidentified man hurled the explosive and then fled.

Police in Bangkok said the bomb was thrown towards the Kasempithaya School in Soi Pridhiphanomyong 31-33, and closed down the adjacent intersection for investigations, according to the Post.
