Report: Communications cut in Damascus suburb

Activist websites are reporting that the Syrian army has cut off communications in Muadhamiya, a suburb west of Damascus, the BBC reported Monday.

In addition to electricity and telephone lines being cut, reports also detailed heavy gunfire in teh area, snipers on tall buildings and a large number of civilian arrests.
