Report: Fatah dismisses eighteen senior officials

The Fatah executive committee decided to discharge 18 senior officials for failure to comply with the movement's decision related to upcoming Palestinian elections, Palestinian news agency Ma'an reported Thursday.

Secretary General of the Fatah Revolutionary Council Amin Maqboul said Wednesday that the party had specified that any Fatah member running for local elections on independent lists would be dismissed, according to Ma'an.
