Report: Islamists kill two Egyptian policemen in Sinai

Islamist gunmen killed two Egyptian police officers in the Sinai Peninsula Sunday, Egyptian daily Al-Masry Al-Youm's online English edition Egypt Independent reported.

The attack on a police checkpoint in southern El-Arish was launched by a number of militants in vehicles with mounted machine guns, according to the report. A third policeman was injured in the attack.
