Report: Official traveling to Cairo for cease-fire talks

An Israeli official is on his way to Cairo to negotiate a cease-fire that would take effect later in the night, sources told Channel 2 on Saturday night.

The agreement is backed by Turkey, Qatar, Egypt and the United States, according to Channel 2.

The Jerusalem Post could not confirm the veracity of this report.
