Members of the pro-Iranian Revolution Basij movement were reported to have thrown 6 or 7 Molotov cocktails at the Saudi Arabian embassy in Tehran, Iran, Dubai-based Arabic news channel Al-Arabiya reported.

According to Al-Arabiya semi-official, Iranian FARS TV station reported that "protesters threw 6 or 7 grenades on the embassy building. The official news agency of Iran showed security forces standing in front of the embassy building but did not address the rally that showed support for the Iranian government's roll in regional events.'

Al-Arabiya said that FARS also reported "a number of protesters trying to raise Hezbollah and Lebanese flags on the embassy building, but security prevented them from doing that."
