Report: Yemen government, tribesmen agree truce

SANAA - Yemen's government and armed tribesmen demanding President Ali Abdullah Saleh leave office reached agreement on Saturday to end their confrontation, a source close to mediators said.

The agreement included a withdrawal of armed tribesmen from occupied government buildings, the source told Reuters.

There was no immediate confirmation from government officials or tribal leaders.
