African migrants have ended their protests at the Saharonim detention facility, following a week-long hunger strike, Israel Radio reported on Monday.

In light of the recent protests, strikers were spread out to separate detention centers to try and stem the strike.

On Monday the detainees began taking their meals again, signalling the end of the strike.
