Top Saudi Islamic cleric, Grand Mufti Sheikh Abdul-Aziz al-Sheikh, has said that protests in Egypt, as well as those in other Arab countries, were started by "enemies of Islam and those who follow them," Reuters reported.

He added that demonstrations have led to stealing and bloodshed, and that he was worried that the unrest may lead to instability in Egypt, Saudi Arabia's main Arab ally.
