Schalit family leaves Mitzpe Hila, on route to Tel Nof

The family of Gilad Schalit left their home in Mitzpe Hila early Tuesday morning and made their way via helicopter to Tel Nof IAF base where they were expected to greet Gilad.

After being freed, Gilad Schalit is expected to meet with Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, Defense Minister Ehud Barak and IDF Chief of General Staff Lt.-Gen. Benny Gantz at the base and then he will immediately be taken to meet with his parents, grandfather, brother and sister.
