Schools and kindergartens will open as normal Monday despite a nation-wide, open-ended local authorities strike, the Education Ministry said Sunday night.

"The education system will operate tomorrow, including the administration of matriculation exams," a ministry spokeswoman said. Additionally, schools and kindergartens will organize transportation with the help of parents.
