Sirens rang in southern communities minutes before a rocket exploded Thursday in Netivot, a city near Sderot, according to the IDF Spokesperson's Office.

No damages or casualties were reported.

This was the fifth rocket to explode in southern Israel Thursday night after the IDF assassinated a senior commander in a Palestinian terror organization in Gaza City.
