Six suspects were arrested on Sunday morning for alleged involvement in a Mea She'arim financial scandal, Army Radio reported. They are suspected of having collected millions of shekels in charity donations that they then took for themselves.

Tax Authority and police units began investigating the suspects, five of which are haredi (ultra-Orthodox), after receiving intelligence information about their alleged crimes.
