Speaker Edelstein honors Knesset on 65th anniversary, says 'proud to stand at its head'

Knesset Speaker Yuli Edelstein spoke at the special plenum meeting in honor of the 65th anniversary of the Knesset on Tuesday.

"What some saw as weaknesses of an open society, we know are the advantages of democracy," he said.

"The Knesset is precious to me and I am proud to stand at its head," he continued. "Its members create a colorful mosaic."
