Students interrupted a speech by Finance Minister Yuval Steinitz on Tuesday, over what they view as unfair allocation of state funds. They called for more of the state budget to be designated to the periphery.

Speaking at Sapir Academic College near Sderot, Steinitz responded that there is no minister that takes care of the periphery as much as he.
