Tear gas grenade thrown at Beersheba-Maccabi Haifa match

One person was lightly injured by tear gas after fans threw a tear gas canister onto the field during the soccer game between Hapoel Beersheba and Maccabi Haifa on Saturday.

Spectators of the match at the Vasermil Stadium in Beersheba were evacuated to the lawn until the gas dissipated. The game then resumed.

Police were trying to locate the person who threw the gas grenade, Army Radio reported.
