Tel Aviv court bans Uber over insurance woes

A Tel Aviv court on Monday morning banned Uber from operating in Israel in a case between the ride-hailing app and the Ministry of Transportation. The court ruled in favor of an injunction, saying that Uber Day and Uber Night can not operate as they currently do, citing insurance issues.
The ministry had sued Uber over its use of unauthorized drivers; the service will be prohibited from operating beginning at 10 a.m. on Tuesday morning.
