Nurses on Tuesday abandoned three internal medicine departments at Tel Hashomer's Sheba Medical Center, leaving only a reduced emergency crew operating at the wards, in protest of the over-admittance of patients.

The nurses also charged that the hospital administration did not fill empty manpower slots despite the fact that Health Minister Yaacov Litzman had claimed he solved the problem with manpower slots and money.
