Ten injured in Turkey blast, Istanbul police chief says

ISTANBUL - A remote-controlled bomb injured 10 police officers near the Istanbul headquarters of Turkey's ruling party on Thursday morning, Istanbul's police chief Huseyin Capkin told reporters.

Television footage showed a fire engine and police cars surrounding the area, and glass from shattered windows in the AK Party building and other buildings littering the street.
