Train breakdown near Ashkelon causes heavy commuter delays

An Israel Railways train that broke down between Ashkelon and Rehovot caused massive delays for commuters on Wednesday morning. 

Approximately an hour after the malfunction, Israel Railways reported that the problem was fixed and that trains were once again moving. 

Another problem with a Kiryat Gat train that originated in Beersheba had also been fixed.
