Two Holocaust survivors were beaten in their Jerusalem home after two robbers gained entrance to their apartment while posing as employees of the National Insurance company, according to a report by Israel Radio on Monday.

The couple, Rachel and Gabriel Tzatzsvili, said their attackers restrained them, covered their mouths with tape and beat them, before leaving empty-handed after not finding anything of value.

Magen David Adom paramedics evacuated Gabriel to the Shaare Zedek Medical Center.
