Two bombs in Baghdad kill 13, say police and medical sources

BAGHDAD - Two bombs went off in Baghdad on Tuesday, killing at least 13 people and wounding more than 40, police and medical sources said.
A blast in a marketplace in the northern district of al-Shaab killed seven people and wounded 21, while a car bomb in the southern neighborhood of al-Rasheed left six dead and another 21 wounded, the sources said.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attacks, but Islamic State has claimed bombings in and around the capital last week which left around 100 people dead.
