Two killed in car accident near Beit Shemesh

Two people were killed in a two car accident on highway 38 outside moshav of Givat Yeshiyahu near Beit Shemesh Monday afternoon.

The two victims, a 50-year-old man and a 27-year-old woman were pulled from the vehicles by Magen David Adom paramedics, who tried in vain to save them.

In a separate fatal accident on Monday, 11-year-old Michael Khouri was killed after the car he was riding in overturned on a highway in the western Galilee. His brother and his mother were also lightly injured in the crash.

Earlier on Monday, 18 people were lightly wounded in a collision between a bus and a truck at the Holon junction. The wounded included the driver of the bus who was lightly to moderately wounded.
