Two mortar shells were fired on Tuesday night from the Gaza Strip to Israel, with one exploding in the Sha'ar Hanegev area and the other not making it past the Palestinian side of the security fence.

Though a Code Red alarm did not sound prior to the explosions, no one was hurt and no damage was caused.

Earlier on Tuesday, two mortar shells were launched at the Netiv Ha'asara area.
