WASHINGTON -- Legislation was introduced in the US House of Representatives Wednesday authorizing US President Barack Obama to assist Israel with its Iron Dome missile defense system should it be required, announced the office of Rep. Howard Berman, ranking member on the House Foreign Affairs Committee.

The law would help Israel purchase additional Iron Dome systems should Israel request them.
