The US has expressed concern to the Lebanese government over Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's scheduled upcoming visit to Lebanon, US State Department Spokesman P.J. Crowley said, AFP reported Tuesday.

Crowley said that US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton spoke with Lebanese President Michel Suleiman last month, telling him that Iran, through Hizbullah, threatens Lebanon's sovereignty.
