US official: European airports may be terror targets

The lobbies of five major Europeans airports may be targeted in a suspected terror plot, according to a US law enforcement official quoted by ABC News on Monday.

The comments came after Japan joined the US and Britain in issuing a travel alert for Europe to warn of a possible terrorist attack by al-Qaida or other groups.
