USGS: Moderate earthquake hits Tajikistan

A moderate earthquake of 5.7 magnitude struck near Kulob, Tajikistan, early on Sunday morning, according to the US Geological Survey.

The earthquake hit 100 kilometers north northeast of Kulob at a depth of 6.2 miles (10 km), USGS said.
