White House: focused on next steps to solve Syrian crisis

WASHINGTON - The United States hopes to meet with international partners soon to agree upon the next steps to halt the killing of civilians in Syria and this would likely include humanitarian aid, the White House said on Tuesday.

White House Press Secretary Jay Carney told reporters that a "friends of Syria" meeting could be held in the near future, but did not give details.
