The Central District Court ruled on Tuesday to permit Yigal Amir to attend twice-weekly religious study sessions with a fellow prisoner. A final decision in the case will be made next month.

Amir had appealed to the High Court of Justice earlier this month saying that the state was discriminating against him for not allowing him out of solitary confinement to attend the study sessions.
