Interior Minister Eli Yishai on Wednesday praised the IDF assassination of Hamas military chief Ahmed Jabri, saying the operation was "unavoidable."
"If they can't sleep in Sderot, they won't sleep in Gaza," Yishai said. "No country would allow over a million of its citizens to spend their days in shelters."
The assassination followed four days of military exchanges that included over a hundred Gazan rockets fired at southern Israeli towns, including Sderot.
