Yishai: S. Sudan deportations small, but important start

Speaking from Ben-Gurion Airport hours before a plane-full of South Sudanese nationals were repatriated, Interior Minister Eli Yishai admitted that the roundup or hundreds of Africans in the past week is only a small measure in the government's efforts at returning Africans to their countries of origin.
"This is a drop within a drop," Yishai told Channel 2 on Sunday. "But it is an important start."
The Interior Minister also noted that over the past weekend, only 38 people crossed into Israel through its southern border with Egypt, the lowest such number in recent years.
