State of Israel Bonds "will be the central factor in raising foreign currency for Israel," Finance Minister Ehud Olmert told a Bonds delegation visiting Israel Monday. Olmert said he intends to invest "much money" in infrastructures, as part of his stated policy, with a large portion of the money coming from the funds raised by the State of Israel Bonds. The currency would be raised through the sale of Israeli government bonds abroad, the Finance Ministry specified.
