Petah Tikva-based Oversi said Monday it received $8 million in funding from networking giant Cisco Systems. Oversi specializes in Peer-to-Peer (P2P) caching and content delivery, features that allow Internet service providers to deliver up to 20-times more bandwidth without forcing investments to upgrade infrastructure. Oversi officials called Cisco's investment a reflection of the growing market for new and economical ways to relieve Internet congestion.
