EC to increase Israeli investment

European Commission officials are committed to increase investments into Israel to come closer to matching the level of US investments as requested by Shraga Brosh, chairman of the Federation of Israeli Economic Organizations during his visit to Brussels last week.

European Commission officials are committed to increase investments into Israel to come closer to matching the level of US investments as requested by Shraga Brosh, chairman of the Federation of Israeli Economic Organizations during his visit to Brussels last week. In addition, European officials agreed to ease the participation and involvement of Israeli business professionals and research and academic institutes into the EU's seven year research and development framework program which has an allocated budget of €50 billion and other programs to engage Israeli companies.
