Elbit unit wins Boeing order

Defense systems company Elbit Systems said Monday its subsidiary Cyclone Aviation Products has won a $19 million contract with Boeing to supply the aircraft manufacturer with structural components for its F-15 aircraft.

Defense systems company Elbit Systems said Monday its subsidiary Cyclone Aviation Products has won a $19 million contract with Boeing to supply the aircraft manufacturer with structural components for its F-15 aircraft. Cyclone will supply Boeing with detachable fuel tanks, pylons, horizontal stabilizers and gun access doors, which are scheduled for delivery during 2008 and 2009. Karmiel-based Cyclone, which has 400 workers, has supplied Boeing with parts in the past for its civil aircraft including Boeing 747, 767 and new the Dreamliner 787.
