Electricity prices to rise 4.25%

Household electricity rates will go up 4.25 percent on Sunday to 45.91 agorot per kilowatt hour from of 44.04, mainly due to the sharp rise in oil prices since September.

Household electricity rates will go up 4.25 percent on Sunday to 45.91 agorot per kilowatt hour from of 44.04, mainly due to the sharp rise in oil prices since September. Electricity rates for businesses and public institutions will increase by 4.24% to 51.86 agorot per kilowatt hour, from the 49.75 agorot paid previously as oil prices have risen by an average rate of 11.62% since September, the last time rates were increased.
