Evergreen Venture Partners and Vertex Venture Capital have invested $6 million in Ethos Networks, a start-up company based in Herzliya. Founded in 2003, Ethos develops Ethernet switches that provide intelligent data transport capabilities using layer 2 Ethernet. This lets operators of communications networks flexibly allocate network resources to extend their services, while minimizing costs. Evergreen and Vertex's investment in Ethos is intended for research and development.
