Japan biz leaders to visit ambassador

The executives will take part in a seminar on Israel's semiconductor industry focusing on entertainment electronics - organized following a visit by a delegation of Israeli semiconductor companies last December - at which representatives of Metalink, M-systems and Orbotech will lecture.

Twenty presidents and CEOs of leading Japanese hi-tech companies - including Toshiba, Sony, Panasonic, Fujitsu, Mitsubishi, Matsushita and Hitachi - will meet with Israeli ambassador to Japan Eli Cohen at his home, the Industry, Trade and Labor Ministry said Wednesday. The executives will take part in a seminar on Israel's semiconductor industry focusing on entertainment electronics - organized following a visit by a delegation of Israeli semiconductor companies last December - at which representatives of Metalink, M-systems and Orbotech will lecture.
