Minister of Transportation and Road Safety Shaul Mofaz on Monday appointed Herzl Budinger, a former General in the Israeli Air Force, to head a commission charged with putting together a plan for the country's airports for the next 50 years, including incorporating recommendations from both domestic and international advisers on how to make Israel's airports more time-efficient and less costly. In addition to Budinger, the commission will include representatives from the Transportation and Finance Ministries.
