The Israel Electric Company has started to make preparations across the country ahead of the winter season to secure electricity networks, transformers and transformation points and reduce the risks of potential damage caused by bad weather conditions on stormy winter days. IEC chairman Moti Friedman and acting CEO Moshe Bachar, on Sunday, visited the company's logistics department in the North. Preparations include inspections and close examinations of electricity networks and the trimming of trees, branches and other potential hazards that could damage to the networks.
