Shenkar College, Eilat join forces

A pilot research and development project in which Shenkar College students from different disciplines worked to find solutions to tourism related quality of life problems in Eilat is on the way to becoming a permanent fixture in the southern resort city.




A pilot research and development project in which Shenkar College students from different disciplines worked to find solutions to tourism related quality of life problems in Eilat is on the way to becoming a permanent fixture in the southern resort city. The project initiated a year ago at the request of Eilat Mayor Meir Yitzhak Halevi, proved to be so successful that it will continue through 2007, and talks between the municipality, Eilat business leaders and the powers-that-be at Shenkar are moving towards the establishment of technological incubators in Eilat to give students the best possible environment for their work.
