Bank Hapoalim launches largest credit card club

Leading Israeli chains, 250 smaller business from around the country have already joined Hapoalim Cash Back club.

Bank Hapoalim on Thursday announced the creation of Israel’s largest club for
creditcard customers, promising to deliver cash back on purchases made at
leading supermarkets and other participating retail outlets.
“This is
part of the bank’s strategy of granting real economic value to all our customers
and supporting the development of the business sector,” Hapoalim CEO Zion Keinan
said. “This includes small businesses, which will enjoy the same marketing
platform as larger businesses.”
Holders of Bank Hapoalim cards supported
by Isracard, Mastercard, American Express and Visa will join the club
automatically and free of charge.
Members will receive direct cash
deposits into their bank account of up to 10 percent of the value of their
purchases at participating land-based and online retail outlets. In addition,
they will be offered a range of attractive discounts and benefits every
month.
Dozens of the leading Israeli chains and about 250 smaller
business from around the country have already joined Hapoalim Cash Back club.
The bank said it intends to broaden the club’s scope to enable any business to
grant benefits to its customers through the club. It estimated that in the first
two years more than 3,000 smalland medium-sized businesses and about 120 large
businesses will sign up.

Cash Back include Castro, Steimatzky, Isrotel, Café Joe, Rami Levi, ALM, Kishrey
Teufa, Globus Group, Negev Ceramics, Optica Halperin, Adidas, Walla Shops,
Kitan, Budget, Ophir Tours, Shlomo Sixt, Israir, Sabon shel Paam, Tadiran, Dell,
Lee Cooper, Berlitz, Aloni and Maccabi Tel Aviv.
