4,000 Hebron Palestinians riot, 1 resident injured

IDF fire tear gas, warning shots in the air to disperse rioters. Palestinians also throw rocks at cars near Ramallah.

Some 4,000 Palestinians rioted and threw stones at Israeli vehicles and security forces in Hebron, damaging three cars and lightly injuring one Jewish resident on Saturday night, according to the IDF.
The IDF also confirmed that security forces fired tear gas and fired warning shots in the air to disperse the rioters.
Initially, there were no injuries although some cars were damaged, according to Israel Radio.
However, Israel Radio reported that after the initial riot was dispersed, a fight broke out between some of the Palestinian rioters and some of the Jewish residents in which one Jewish resident of Hebron was lightly injured. He was given medical treatment at the scene.
Meanwhile, Palestinians near Ramallah threw rocks at passing cars, according to Israel Radio.
No one was hurt, but some cars were damaged, according to the report. There was no initial report connecting the two incidents.
