Gazans fire three rockets following IAF air strikes

IAF strikes terror tunnels in the Strip overnight, three rockets fall on Sderot, Eshkol region; no injuries reported.

Rockets fired from Gaza exploded in the western Negev on Wednesday morning, with two rockets landing in Sderot and one in Netivot.
One rocket landed in an open area near Netivot's cemetery. Another exploded in an open field near an adjacent settlement.
No one was injured and no damage was reported.
The latest rocket fire follows an air force strike on terrorist tunnels in the northern Gaza Strip, the IDF Spokesman's Office said late Tuesday night. The strike was in response to the several rockets fired earlier at the Negev from the same targets in northern Gaza.
Palestinians said the attacks came in response for IDF strikes on Hamas targets in Gaza over the weekend, in which eight bystanders were injured.
Schools in Netivot and other towns in southern Israel will open Wednesday.
On Monday, the IDF struck targets in Gaza from the air and land in response to a barrage of more than 30 rockets and mortar shells fired by Hamas and Islamic Jihad at farming districts in the South.
The Eshkol Regional Council was bombarded with some 30 Palestinian rockets and mortars. Local residents reported awakening to the sounds of explosions and rushing for cover in safe rooms designed to protect them from the projectiles.
