Palestinians threw an explosive device and Molotov Cocktails at Border Police officers in the village of al-Eida, near Rachel’s Tomb in Bethlehem Sunday, lightly to moderately injuring two officers.It was just one of a number of minor violent incidents in the West Bank on Sunday.According to Sarit Michaeli of the Israeli nongovernmental group B’Tselem, settlers attacked and injured three Palestinians who were working their land in the area of the Ramat Migron outpost.She said the Palestinians had coordinated their actions with the IDF, which was expected to be by their fields to protect them as of 6:30 a.m. She said that when the Palestinians arrived at their fields, they did not see IDF officers, but proceeded to farm.According to the IDF, two settlers were also injured in the violence. Settler sources said that three settlers were arrested over the incident.Meanwhile, the NGO Yesh Din said settlers attacked Palestinians Sunday as they worked on a road in the village of Burin outside of Nablus. Reut Mor from Yesh Din said settlers wanted to prevent the Palestinians from building a road, even though it was located in Area B of the West Bank and the work had been coordinated with the IDF and the Civil Administration. She charged that settlers had thrown stones at the Palestinians.She further alleged that they deliberately targeted and attacked a Palestinian field worker from Yesh Din.That night, Palestinians threw a Molotov cocktail at an Israeli vehicle in the area of Burin, according to the IDF.
